Details Ubiquity Dallas will be conducting Emergency Network Maintenance on the afternoon of July 7, 2010.

Ubiquity Dallas will be conducting Emergency Network Maintenance on the afternoon of July 7, 2010. We have received reports that several client IP address prefixes are experiencing an issue whereby traffic destined to some IP addresses within the prefix is not being forwarded while other IP addresses are working normally. We believe that the issue in question is being caused by one of two possible components in our core network infrastructure. In an effort to resolve the issue, we will be initiating a restart of the core distribution switch that services the devices in question. In the event that does not resolve the issue, we will then be initiating a restart of the edge router that services the devices in question. Clients may experience between one and three periods of downtime lasting no more than 5 minutes each while the restarts are completed. We will post updates here as soon as they become available. UPDATE: After performing a restart of the core distribution switch and a hitless reload of the edge router that services the devices in question, the issue appears to be resolved. We will be conducting further testing to determine if the matter has indeed been fully resolved. At this time, this matter is being considered Potentially Resolved pending the results of our testing.
